Welcome to the Performance Packet for Acting (Ages 10+)!

GENERAL INFO

MISSION

At Reclaiming Arts, performance is an essential part of a student’s artistic journey. Throughout the year, students develop their skills, grow in confidence, and steward the gifts God has given them. The stage becomes a place where that growth is shared.

We love watching our students step forward with courage, support one another, and experience the joy of sharing their gifts. Performance teaches them how preparation, perseverance, and teamwork come together to create something meaningful. Along the way, students build lasting friendships and learn how their individual efforts contribute to something bigger than themselves.

Productions of this scale require preparation, communication, and teamwork from our entire Arts Fam. Our staff, families, and volunteers all play an important role in creating an excellent performance experience for our students.

To help everything run smoothly, please use this webpage as your primary guide for all performance-related information.

We look forward to an incredible performance season and cannot wait to see our students shine on stage.

SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Help us provide scholarships for 10 students to train at Reclaiming Arts!

Through the work of the Reclaiming Arts Foundation, students are discipled, trained, and equipped to share the Gospel through the performing arts.

Last year, your generosity helped provide scholarships, purchase a new aerial apparatus for our Creative Leaders Academy production of Ensnared, and install A/C in our theater to make every class and event more comfortable.

This year, our goal is to raise enough funds to sponsor 10 students who would not otherwise have the opportunity to train at Reclaiming Arts. Your tax-deductible gift helps provide scholarships so young artists can grow in their gifts, deepen their faith, and learn to use the arts to impact their communities for Christ.

Together, we can raise up the next generation of Kingdom artists and reclaim the arts for God’s glory.

Please visit our website to learn more about the Reclaiming Arts Foundation.

Thank you for supporting our mission—your generosity truly changes lives.

"The Gift"

Auditions for our original musical "The Gift" will be January 20, 2025 at Reclaiming Arts!

What is "The Gift" about?

Join siblings Miriam and Eli on their journey to Bethsaida, where unexpected challenges and remarkable encounters lead them to life-changing truths. Along the way, they meet people with incredible stories about a man named Jesus. While Miriam wrestles with doubt, Eli finds faith, offering their humble five loaves and two fish—unleashing a miracle that changes everything! The Gift is a heartwarming children’s musical about faith, provision, and the truth that Jesus is the Messiah.

SHOW INFO

ABOUT THE SHOW

Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid, JR. is a timeless tale about trust, temptation, and the power of sacrificial love.

In a magical underwater kingdom, the beautiful young mermaid, Ariel, longs to leave her ocean home behind, but in her impatience she turns to the deceitful sea witch, Ursula, instead of trusting her father, King Triton. When Ariel faces the consequences of that bargain, it's her father's selfless love — and the defeat of evil — that ultimately saves her and grants her the desires of her heart.
