Finding Freedom in Worship

November 10, 20243 min read

Have you ever desired to...

Express your worship through art?

Find physical, emotional, and artistic freedom in your praise?

Worship with a community that is on fire for God?

Young dancers follow an older dancer's lead as they break into worshipful dance.

If you answered "yes!" to any of these questions, we invite you to join us for a special event created with you in mind.

Many Christians feel drawn to incorporate artistic expression into their worship but often wonder:

How can I move my body in praise?

How can I bring my musical gifts into a shared worship experience?

I have a passion for acting—how can I incorporate this with my faith?

As a Christian performing arts center, our goal is to use our artistic talents to glorify God. We’re thrilled to welcome our community—and yes, that includes YOU!—into this journey. Whether you’re a dancer, musician, actor, or just curious about using your creative gifts in worship, our next Worship & Arts Night is for you.

What is Worship & Arts Night?

Our Worship & Arts Nights are designed to help Christians utilize the performing arts as a means of worship. These evenings include a free, hands-on workshop where participants can explore how to incorporate Acting, Aerial, Dance, or Music into their worship, followed by a powerful time of communal worship. We invite everyone in our community to join us—no prior experience needed (except for Aerial)!

Imagine a church worship night that goes beyond singing to embrace worship as a whole-body experience. Our goal is to help you discover freedom in praise–whether through the physical movement of Aerial and Dance, the vocal or instrumental expression of Music, or the emotional exploration of Acting.

At our most recent Worship & Arts Night in October 2024, attendees left feeling “on fire for God,” “ready to conquer,” and deeply moved by the purity of seeing the youngest generation of believers freely worship onstage. We can’t wait for you to experience it too!

What Can I Expect at a Worship & Arts Night?

The evening is divided into two parts: Workshop and Worship. You are welcome to attend just the workshop, just worship, or both!

Workshop:

Our free Worship Workshop is an introductory experience that combines the performing arts with worship in a welcoming environment. Choose to explore Acting, Aerial, Dance, or Music as expressions of praise. You don’t need any prior experience (except for Aerial); just come as you are, ready to learn. Open to Kids, Teens, and Adults ages 7 and up.

Worship:

After the workshop, we’ll join together as a community in a time of worship. If you attended the optional workshop, you’ll have the chance to bring what you’ve experienced into a collective, joyful celebration of praise. With music, movement, prayer, and fellowship, we create a space where you can freely and openly worship. Invite your friends, family, and neighbors—everyone is welcome.

When is Worship & Arts Night?

Our next Worship & Arts Night is coming up on November 22. Future Worship & Arts Nights are scheduled for January 10, March 7, and April 4.

Do I Need to RSVP?

You’re welcome to join us for the worship session without an RSVP. If you’d like to participate in the workshop, simply text “WORKSHOP” to (405) 870-3050 to reserve your spot.
